Last day of Lizzy's Meadow Quilt camp

There was lots of late night sewing ... from one curve to the other...

lots of spray starch and glue sticks to sew in circles - and it worked!

What does the weather do to you?

The summer of 2013 hasn't been a real scorcher yet. I had to look up the Farmer's Almanac and I am still waiting for the predicted head lines " warm to hot with normal precipitation". Here was another humid weekend with torrential rain and few hours of sun.

I made a big jug of a thirst cruncher ...sassy water, cucumber, lemon & mint

finished a big star quilt for a friend

and went out with my camera

I found this butterfly while cutting grass with his extraordinary colours.

Twin horses??? These two horses had every move synchronized.

picked up some eggs from our farmer down the road.... and drove to my favourite place to Jordan "Stitch". Jocelyn hosted " Airing of the quilts" in her backyard .
