Handmade gifts

I love to make zipper bags for gifts. This pattern is from V& Co., a simple pattern in three different sizes.

You can't stop making one.

I like to use Coats and Clark bright neon pinks for detailing and a pink pom-pom

for the zipper.

Here I changed the pattern to fit in my  knitting stuff.

Christmas Open House at Stitch in Jordan

Jocelyn Chamberlain, the owner of Stitch knows how to make everybody feel so welcome.

 She carries the finest yarns, knitting needles and a superb selection of textiles and books you just want take a seat at her harvest table and start to sew.

Susan, Linda, Charlie and Jocelyn and many other friend welcomed us 

with the most scrumptious desserts.

I was so glad to have tried it ( Pavlora) and not to forget the biscotti.

I met so many friends that I almost had no time to shop!

Schnitzel & Boo mini quilt swap

This was my first venture to participate in a mini quilt swap hosted by Kristi. Yesterday I got my surprise quilt all the way from Idaho . I love it... a house with a laundry line quilted with my favorite prints. Lots of text matched with Tula Pink fabric for the cross borders and an extra Anna Marie Horner stash of fabric. It's beginning to look like Christmas!

Keep me warm

I couldn't stop sewing doll and teddy bear mini quilts.

 Instant gratification in a day - one after the other for a fundraiser overseas. 

Every teddy and doll should be tucked under a blanket!

I remember that I had a Steiff bear as a child - I still have it,  slightly disfigured after

 our Golden Retriever took it for his new toy.

Here are a few of the mini quilts. They all have a soft backing to cuddle your cuties.

Each quilt has his own zipper bag with a fuzzy cut fabric stamp.

Meadow quilt

My meadow quilt arrived from Idaho.

 That 's when you want to hug the mailman and you can't wait to open the box.

Lizzy, from Lizzyhouse was teaching this class back in July. She recommended Jo from supposecreatedelight and she did a beautiful quilting job !

I will snuggle up in the quilt and this won't leave the house!
