Dew mornings
I left my camera overnight in my car which is not a good idea. The lens was all fogged up but with the morning dew it had the right effect. I am back into my sewing mode and will post soon some of my projects on the go. There are times I have so many ideas floating in my head but nothing is put down into action. I hope it will happen soon - you can rush it.

This photo was take with my iphone and filters were applied. But by late fall the sky turns purple and the old farmer's wife called her little paradise " Purple Hills".

Hooking...whipping...ripping...crossover
I don't know what you might think reading the title of this post but I just have spent a whole day with seven women and one guy arriving with his Harley Davidson how to learn everything about rug hooking.
Arriving early Sunday morning at this rural farm in the hills of Caledon, Ontario the workshop was held in this cozy and rustic log cabin.....

welcome to Marina Lesar rug hooking class
WE started off with a sampler, learning straight lines, curves, ripping wool, testing different hooks and cutting the wool.
It looks pretty simple but there is lots to learn how to pull the right height for the loop.
..... and this is the pile of wool spaghetti you get
all kind of hooks to try out what feels best in your hand
To see more of Martina Lesar's talented work with a group of other hookers next weekend go and

Catching up with online classes " Lucky Star BOM "
Taking online classes, such a tempting thing to do with the tip of a finger . The only thing is keeping up with the daily or weekly assignments. I now have one rule for signing up for online classes - they have to be accessible for at least 6 months. In January of this year I signed up for the Lucky Star BOM with the so very talented Elizabeth Dackson. The practise star was done in no time and then I simply had no time to do the rest... and with the first day of frost I was on target again.
Here they are......
